Calf pasture Beach is a destination not only for “locals” but for many out of town guests. Parking fees, although they may seem steep to some, cover the costs of maintaining these beautiful parks with no tax line to the residents. Other municipalities across the state charge for park use and many of them do not allow non-residents to enter their parks at all.
For those who would like to come to the beach and eat, a fee is often a deterrent. The city will provide a grace period of 90 minutes for those who want to come to Ripka’s and just enjoy the food and the view. You simply mention to the attendants at the gate you are eating at Ripka’s….they will provide you with a timed stamp sheet..you pay whatever fee is applicable and upon finishing you return back to the gate with your slip and so long as it is inside the 90 minutes you will receive a full refund. Most concerts and events occur after 5pm and at that time the fee is $10 for unlimited time. We are proud of our beaches and love to have all enjoy the park respectfully. Parking fees are applied from May 3rd until Columbus Day weekend.
